The kitchen and food are part of the apulian culture, I grow up in the kitchen of my family restaurant!! Let's make orecchiette, sagne ncannulate, pittule, pizzi and purceddhruzzi all together!!

La Terrazza di Otranto is located in via Bastione dei Pelasgi in the historic center of Otranto. Located on the Adriatic coast of the Salento peninsula, it is the easternmost town in Italy. In the heart of the historic center, it enjoys the view both of the whole city and of the sea and the beach in front of the beautiful terrace. From the terrace on some nice days it is possible to see the Albanian mountains, especially during sunset or sunrise.

Guests will arrive at the house and will be arranged around a table where they will take an active part in the preparation of a dish of orecchiette, sagne, minchiareddrhi, all types of fresh pasta prepared under our supervision. Will be provided: rolling pin, work table, and the necessary ingredients such as flour, water, yeast. They will also be guided in the preparation of Pittule, another typical and succulent dish that enriches our tables during the festive period. Finally, the recipe for our familiy receipt of purceddhruzzi!!

Guests will be given the manual with the recipes described in Italian and English with the procedures and everything that has been prepared by them will be packaged and they will be able to take a piece of Salento with them to their home. We will answer the questions and promptly tell you where the different flours and ingredients used come from.
